If a product is temporarily unavailable, we will notify you by email.
We reserve the right to withdraw any product at any time.
Images, descriptions and specifications are provided for guidance only and may vary slightly from the product supplied.
All prices are displayed in Euro (€) and include VAT where applicable.
We reserve the right to change prices at any time.
The price charged will be the price displayed at the time of order confirmation.
We accept secure online payments via Stripe (credit and debit cards).
We do not accept:
Cash on Delivery
Cheque payments for online orders
Payment must be cleared before goods are dispatched.
Your bank statement may show the trading name “Hoist Equipment”.
Delivery is available throughout Ireland and Northern Ireland.
Standard delivery charge: €15.00
Free delivery applies automatically on orders over €250.00.
Orders are typically dispatched the next working day.
Estimated delivery time: 2–5 working days.
Delivery dates are estimates and not guaranteed.
We shall not be liable for delays outside our reasonable control.
Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery.
Title to goods remains with Alan Whyte & Sons Lifting Equipment Ltd until full payment has been received.
Under EU Consumer Regulations, consumers have the right to cancel an online order within 14 days of delivery.
To qualify for return:
Goods must be unused
In original packaging
In resalable condition
The following items are excluded from cancellation:
Cut chain
Cut wire rope
Custom-made or made-to-measure products
Certified lifting assemblies
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless goods are faulty.
Industrial lifting equipment is not supplied on a “free return” basis.
Where applicable, GA1 Certificates of Thorough Examination are issued in accordance with Irish Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Regulations.
Certificates are issued to the purchaser and relate specifically to the equipment tested.
Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alan Whyte & Sons Lifting Equipment Ltd shall not be liable for:
Indirect loss
Consequential loss
Loss of business
Loss of profit
Our total liability in respect of any claim shall not exceed the value of the goods supplied.
(Important: Remove the €200 cap — that is commercially dangerous.)

Unauthorised copying or reproduction is prohibited.
